All are invited to meet in the front lobby of Town Hall to tie a ribbon on the wreath in honor or remembrance of family and/or friends who have battled the disease. The wreath will remain on display throughout the month of October to offer hope, strength, and encouragement to those effected by breast cancer. Light refreshments will be served.

TOWN GARAGE - MAPLE STREET (Route 341)
Dr. Katherine Kane, a member of The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, will be in Kent to provide rabies vaccinations* for dogs and cats.
The cost of each vaccine is $15.00 – ca$h only!
Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers.
The Kent Town Clerk will also be on hand for residents of Kent who wish to obtain their 2010 dog tags. The State of Connecticut requires that all dogs 6 months of age and older be licensed annually in June (CGA 22-328) more info. The cost of a license is $19.00 for male/female dogs; $8.00 if the dog has been neutered or spayed (proof required).
*All vaccinations will be for one year unless owner brings proof of prior vaccination.

The first installment of the Real Estate and Personal Property and the Motor Vehicle Supplement Taxes for the Grand List of 2010 is due and payable July 1, 2011. The first installment of the Real Estate and Personal Property and Motor Vehicle Supplement Taxes for the Grand List of 2010 will become delinquent on August 2, 2011.
As soon as the tax becomes delinquent, it shall be subject to interest at the rate of one and a half percent per month from the time such tax becomes due and payable until the same is paid.
The Tax Collector's office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Payment is also welcome through the mail at P.O. Box 311, Kent, Connecticut 06757.
