The Conservation Commission invites all residents to participate in a week long Town Clean-up by picking up the trash on their road sides as well as anywhere else they see it. Contractor bags and green recycling bags with gloves are available as well as volunteers to collect the trash bags.Call (860-927-4262) or email Liddy Baker to get supplies or to report where filled bags have been left for pick up.  A final celebration will be held at the transfer station on Saturday 28th.
 

CONSERVATION COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING

April 28th 2 to 4 p.m. Financing Municipal Land Acquisition - Why and How?

 A special voter registration and enrollment session will be held in the Kent Registrar's office at Kent Town Hall on Tuesday April 10th, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM, for persons entitled to vote in the April 24th, 2012 Republican Presidential Preference Primary.   The deadline for registration by mail is April 19th, 2012 and in person, April 23rd, 2012 until noon.

 A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Kent Town Hall.  The purpose of said hearing is to receive comment from affected property owners with respect to the construction of the proposed Maple Street Extension Sanitary Sewer Extension.
